Investor Activism Campaigns by Type: ESG vs. Non-ESG H1 2022 was a record-breaking first half for investor activism with 777 campaigns launched, an all-time high that surpassed the previous high-water mark from H1 2020 (696 campaigns). FY 2022 is on track to finish with highestever yearly total of investor activist campaigns. Of the 777 campaigns executed in H1 2022, 75% (585 in total) had an ESG component, which was the second-highest mark over the last five years.
